李元,男,1983年2月生,中国科学院海洋研究所研究员, 博士生导师。2012年获中国科学院海洋研究所物理海洋学博士学位;现就职于中国科学院海洋研究所海洋环流与波动重点实验室。主要研究方向为大洋环流与海气相互作用。

研究成果及奖励
2012年-2018年间,在JPO,JC,GRL,JGR等期刊共发表SCI论文50多篇,其中第一作者论文20多篇。主要科研成果包括:1)揭示热带海洋混合层季节内变化机理,并指出其对季节内海气耦合过程的重要作用;2)理清热带太平洋和印度洋温跃层水团低频变异的主要特征和机理;3)揭示太平洋和印度洋海洋热含量年代际变异机制,指出其对全球表面变暖速率的重要影响。
