沙忠利，男，博士，研究员，博士生导师，中科院海洋所科研处处长。第4届曾呈奎海洋科技奖“青年科技奖”获得者，科技部重点领域创新团队“深海极端环境与生命过程研究创新团队”成员。2005年6月中国科学院动物研究所动物学专业博士毕业；2005年7月至今在中科院海洋所从事甲壳动物形态分类、分子系统学及生物多样性等研究，尤其是深海甲壳动物多样性研究。

l 主要研究成果
以海洋甲壳动物为主要研究对象，持续开展了系统学研究，通过宏观与微观生物学手段相结合，综合形态与分子等多层次数据，从近海到深海：研究和描记近海甲壳动物物种多样性，近5年共发表15个新物种、发现4个中国海新记录属和41个中国海新记录种；重建了代表类群物种及种上阶元的系统发育关系，阐释了我国重要经济物种口虾蛄遗传多样性的演变机制；围绕当前深海研究的前沿方向，申请者聚焦深海甲壳动物多样性、起源与适应性机制等科学问题，发表深海蔓足类、等足类和十足类等甲壳动物1新科2新属11新种，解析了重要类群的起源与进化历程，并对生物适应深海极端环境的分子机制进行了探索。
近5年已出版分类学专著7部，参编专著1部，以第一作者或通讯作者发表研究论文42篇(SCI论文37篇)，发表期刊包括进化生物学、动物学等领域重要国际刊物，如BMC Genomics、Zoological Scripta、Deep-Sea Research Part I、Scientific Reports、Zootaxa等。已主持或正在主持国家自然科学基金、中国动物志编研、中科院青年拔尖科学家项目、科技部重点研发计划项目课题、中国科学院海洋战略先导专项子课题等8项研究项目。
