1982年1月从武汉地质学院毕业, 获学士学位；
1987年6月毕业于中国地质大学,获理学硕士学位；
1995年6月毕业于成都理工大学, 获博士学位。

Dr. CAO, Zhimin，professor at the College of Marine Geosciences, Ocean University of China. Cao earned his Ph. D.,Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Chengdu University of Technology, China University of Geosciences and Wuhan College of Geology(predecessor of China University of Geosciences), respectively.Dr. Cao’s research is focused on Economic Geology, Geochemistry.
Research Interests:Marine Geology, Geochemistry of Ore-Forming Process, Hydrothermal Mineralization
