研究领域：

环境与资源保护法学。主要从事环境教育、环境诉讼等环境法学基本理论研究。

课题及项目：

主持并完成世界自然基金会、中国海洋发展研究中心、青岛市社会科学规划、中国海洋大学文科发展基金等国家级、省部级和地市级科研项目多项。主要包括世界自然基金会黄海生态区项目《黄海生态区保护生物多样性和生态栖息地环境宣传教育行动》、中国海洋发展研究中心海大专项《黄河三角洲高效生态经济区生态环境保护法规的制定与完善研究》、青岛市社会科学规划项目《建设生态城市与环境规划法律问题研究》、中国海洋大学文科发展基金项目《环境规划与生态城市建设法律问题研究》等；作为主要成员参与教育部哲学社会科学发展报告建设项目《中国环境法制建设发展报告》、教育部社会科学研究项目《环境污染损害社会化救济法律制度研究》、国家海洋局重大科研项目《渤海区域立法研究》、《联合国海洋法公约发展与完善海洋权益研究》、《无居民海岛使用条例（草案）》、中华环保联合会立法调研项目《环境公益诉讼立法调研项目基础性研究》、山东省教育厅高等学校教学改革项目《卓越法律人才培养的实践教学反思与创新》、中国海洋大学本科教育教学研究项目《卓越法律人才培养的实践教学体系研究》等课题的研究工作。

出版《渤海管理现行法律文献研究》（合著）、《中国海域有偿使用制度研究》（合著）、《海洋渔业资源恢复法律制度研究——兼论浙江海洋渔业资源恢复法制建设》（合著）、《中国环境法制建设发展报告》（副主编）、《生态文明视野下的环境法理论与实践》（副主编）、《污染防治与生物多样性保护——以文明与法制为视角》（副主编），《环境基本法建设与海洋环境保护法的完善》（副主编），《生态文明建设与环境公益诉讼》（副主编），《气候变化背景下的环境法学研究》（副主编），《“蓝黄”经济区建设的法制保障研究》（副主编）、“普通高等教育法学核心课教材”《刑事诉讼法学》（副主编）、《环境与资源保护法学》（参编）等学术著作及教材多部。

在《法学论坛》、《郑州大学学报》、《中国海洋大学学报（社会科学版）》等刊物发表《建立我国环境公益诉讼制度的诉讼法解释路径》、《论环境法的激励原则》、《我国的环境教育立法及其发展》、《城乡规划法对城市环境保护的促进作用》、《黄河三角洲地区水环境治理措施建议》、《论环境教育的功能兼及环境教育法建设》等学术论文几十篇，论文多次被《中国人民大学报刊复印资料》转载。
