个人简介：
1998年毕业于南京大学，主修生物物理和国际金融。2003年毕业于中国科学院生物物理研究所，获得生物信息博士学位。2000－2004在华大基因研究中心（现为中科院北京基因组研究所）任生物信息部门负责人，完成了中国第一个完整微生物全基因组测序的生物信息工作，同时参与了人类基因组计划中国卷和水稻基因组的绘制。2004-2007年，在美国哈佛大学和Dana-Farber癌症研究所从事博士后研究。
目前担任Baylor医学院DanL.Duncan癌症研究所和分子细胞系的助理教授，以及NIH表观遗传组生物信息中心研究员，为总投资为1.9亿美元的NIH表观遗传组路线图计划进行进度协调和数据分析。李蔚教授总共发表SCI论文40余篇（包括Nature,Science,Cell,NatureGenetics,PNAS,GenomeResearch,Bioinformatics等），并担任数家期刊的审稿人（包括NatureMethod).
