李平，男，1982年4月生，安徽安庆人。
2000.9--2004.6：武汉大学，理学学士。
2004.9--2009.7：北京大学，理学博士。
2009.7--至今：同济大学数学系讲师。

Abstract:Inthefirstlecture,wewillreviewthebasicknowledgeofCalabi-Yau(CY)manifolds,concentratingonCYthreefolds(quintichpersurface).ThenwewilldefineGromov-Witten(GW)invariants,whichhasfundamentalsignificanceinenumerativegeometry.
Inthesecondlecture,using0-genusGWinvariants,wewillconstructsmallandbigquantumcohomolgyrings.Themostremarkablefeatureofthesetworingsistheirassociativitylaw,whichhasmanyfar-reachingconsequencesinenumerativegeometryandrelatedtopics.Smallonecanbetakenasthedeformationversionoftheordinarycohomolgyringwhilebigonecontainsmoreinformatinsthansmallone.
Inthethirdlecture,wewilldiscusshowtocomputeGWinvariantsforsmoothprojectivevarieties.Forapoint,Wittenhasafamousconjectureonthegeneratingfunctionoftheseinvariants,whichhasbeenprovedbyKontsevich.Forgeneralprojectivemanifold,thereisasimilarconjecturecalledVirasoroconjecture.WealsodiscussanintegrabilityconjectureconcerningthecoefficientsaringintheGromov-Wittenpotential.
Inthefourthlecture,wewilldiscussthepossbleapplicationsofthelocalizationstools(developedbyBott,Atiyah-SingerandAtiyah-Segal)tosometopicsmentionedabove.

Abstract:Inthisseriesoflectures,Iwillintroducethenotionofharmonicbundles,andthenotiontorelatedHiggsbundlesoverKaehlermanifolds.IwilldiscusstheexistenceofharmonicmetricsoncompactandnoncompactKaehlermanifolds,andtheirpluriharmonicity(Bochner'stechniqueforequivariantharmonicmetrics---thelecturesinthelastsemester);thepluriharmonicityimpliesaninducedHiggsbundlefromtheharmonicbundleinquestion.Theexistenceofharmonicmetricsonaquasi-projectivevarietyiscloselyrelatedtotherepresentationof\pi_1nearthecompactifieddivisor;wewilldiscussthisindetailsonthecaseofnoncompactcurves.IwillalsointroducethecohomologiesofharmonicbundlesandHiggsbundles,especially,L^2-cohomologicaltheories.
Iftimeisadmited,wewillgiveabriefintroductionofGriffiths'Hodgetheory(periodmapping)andWilfriedSchmid'sfamousresults(Inventiones,1973),whichisthemostnaturalexampleofharmonicbundlesandHiggsbundlesfromalgebraicgeometry.
