主要介绍园林植物资源现状、开发利用以及与之相关的最新研究进展、趋势，由从事园林树木学、花卉学和草坪学教学、科学研究的老师担任，以野生植物、热带植物、花卉、草坪、水生植物为对象，根据在园林中的开发利用动态和趋势，拓宽学生对高级园林植物理论和应用的专业知识。本课程内容分专题形式,主要是：1．我国野生植物种质资源专题2．我国热带植物专题 3．特殊规划项目中的园林植物应用（生态恢复、寺院改建、大学校园规划等） 4．我国坪用草开发利用现状专题 5．现代园林与花卉应用专题

This course will include three parts of urban trees,flowers and truf, and Three teachers will give you about the developments of them in the city gardens by the series of the lectures. In the first lecture, the concept, method used into explore the wild plant resources will be given, and you can also get some information about the tendency about them. By the investigation of the tropical plants in the Qinglong botanical garden, Hainan provice, and then, collecting the information about the tropical plants in Yunnan, the title of the second lecture is Tropcial plants in china; In the section of Nation or city flowers and city trees, it will briefly introduct the most importmant kinds of nation/city flowers and city trees, such as, the history\poet\charchters of them. the use of the flowers in doors and out of doors will composed of four lectures. at the last, the development and technology of the turf will be given.
