课程内容简介(英文) Introduction:Functional polymers and the related materials are the important research aspects in polymer science and material science. The design, synthesis, structure-property, and characterization of functional polymers and materials have made great progress since the ion-exchange resin was invented, and lots of functional polymers and materials are commercially available and have many applications in chemicals, environment, photoelectronics, biomedical, pharmaceuticals, and so on. The course is intended for students to not only grasp the theory and methods for molecular structure, design, structure-property, and characterization of functional polymers and materials, but also lay the basis for the future research and development related to these fields. This course mainly includes: absorption and ion-exchange polymers, polymeric catalysts, conducting polymers, electroluminescent polymers, photo-sensitive polymers, non-linear optical polymers, liquid crystalline polymers, magnetic polymers, biomedical polymers, polymer nanomaterials. The basic theory for molecular design, the methods for characterization, and structure-property of functional polymers are necessary for students to grasp. |
