上海交通大学物理系凝聚态物理研究所教授,理学博士。1993年1月至1994年6月澳大利亚新南威尔士大学访问学者。2002年6月至8月访问意大利国际理论物理中心。从事凝聚态物理学的教学和研究工作。主要研究方向为强关联多电子系统和低维凝聚态光电谱。主要研究工作经历包括:低维Peierls系统中的相变和量子晶格涨落效应及电荷密度波,低维关联电子系统中非绝热电声子相互作用及其物理效应,低维系统的元激发、光吸收和激发的光学性质,spin-Peierls系统的量子相变、邻界行为和关联函数等,高温超导与电声子机制,低维系统的光电激发譜,致密物质物理与脉冲星。在国内外学术刊物上发表论文三十余篇。
