赵旭教授


I was born in 1963, graduated from regional science of University of Karlsruhe, Germany and joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University in June 1994. Now, I am the professor and associate Dean of Aetna Management School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a researcher of The 21 Century Research Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.


My major research fields are
(1) Industrial ecology. In this field, I have finished a project of Shanghai Commission of planning and development: design and development policy of Shanghai eco-industrial park (Pudong Jinqiao Export Processing Zone), and am carrying out a project of National Nature Science Foundation: design of ecological supply chain in an enterprise.
(2) Urban environmental management. In this field, I have finished a project of Shanghai Commission of planning and development: research on economical measures for waste management in Shanghai.And I am carrying out a research on economical measures of urban environmental management.
(3) Ecological city. In this field, I have finished an important project of Shanghai Commission of Science and Technology : policies and measures for Shanghai to build an ecological city.

Till now, I have published more than 30 papers, and once translated “Beyond the limits”, a book of Donella H. Meadows, Dennis L. Meadows and Jorgen Randers .
