庄小东,毕业于华东理工大学(本科/博士),先后在新加坡国立大学、德国马普高分子研究所、德国德累斯顿工业大学从事科研工作,现在担任Scientific Reports编委、BMC Materials编委、Polymers编委、Chemistry编委、《功能高分子学报》青年编委、中国化学会会员、美国化学会会员(高分子化学专业委员会成员)、美国电化学会会员,担任Adv. Mater.、J. Am. Chem. Soc.、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、Nature Commun.等30多个国际学术期刊审稿人和仲裁人。现在担任中国、意大利、瑞典、波兰、新加坡等国家的化学和材料领域科学基金评委专家。
庄小东至今已在Adv. Mater.,Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.,J. Am. Chem. Soc.等国际国内期刊上发表学术论文170余篇,合计被引用13000余次,H因子达60。参加国内国际会议和并做邀请口头报告40余次,2次特邀获奖口头报告,7次分会主席。曾参与欧盟石墨烯旗舰计划、欧盟Horizon2020,欧盟ERC starting grant,德国DFG等基础科研研究项目。在国际上建立了广泛的合作关系,如美国劳伦斯国家实验室、法国斯特拉斯堡大学、瑞典KTH等。

1). 二维软物质与介熵物质的合成方法学开发;
2). 基于理论计算构建介熵碳材料的构效关系;
3). 新型能源器件应用开发,如燃料电池、超级电容器、光电催化等。
