1993.06-1999.08：华东交通大学基应用化学研究所大学化学系，工作，讲师—>教授，曾获“江西省优秀教师”、“江西省跨世纪学科带头人”、国务院特殊津贴等荣誉。
1999.08~现在：上海交通大学化学化工学院化工系精细化工研究所，教授（博导）。
4、研究方向
（1）、环保燃料和润滑油添加剂的分子设计、合成工艺及其相应机理研究
（2）、新能源材料、光电有机材料、医药农药中间体等功能有机物的研究开发
（3）、石化加工助剂（如阻聚剂、高温缓蚀剂、减压深拔剂、原油减阻剂等）的研究开发
（4）、特种金属加工油液的新型评价方法及其应用研究开发
（5）、生物及人体肌肉组织润滑材料的研究
5、科研项目
（1）主持国家自然科学基金5项、参加863计划项目1项、完成中石油和中石化研发项目10余项、完成民营企业产品开发项目多项。
（2）完成了年产720吨无铅汽油抗爆剂MMT的产业化工程项目。
（3）成功开发了用于国V柴油的酯型高效抗磨剂产品。
（4）成功开发了超高水解稳定性环保型硼酸酯抗磨润滑添加剂。
（5）与中石化共建了“金属加工油液联合实验室”。
