个人简介

1983年本科毕业于北京大学数学系，1989年于美国纽约大学库朗研究所获博士学位，曾任美国普林斯顿大学数学系助理教授，加利福尼亚大学洛杉矶分校（UCLA）副教授（终身教职），在任职交大之前担任美国衣阿华大学正教授。王教授在偏微分方程、微分几何、调和分析等基础理论及应用等方面取得了一系列在国际上有影响的开创性工作，是国际公认的偏微分方程正则性研究方面的专家。他曾于1994年获得美国的SloanResearchFellowship,2002年被聘为教育部第五批****特聘教授。
