个人简介

葛巧德教授系上海交通大学特聘教授、中组部“****”入选者。先后担任美国纽约州立大学石溪分校机械工程系常务副主任、ASMEFellow和ASME机构学与机器人学专业委员会主席等职，国际新兴学科“计算运动几何学”的开拓者之一和著名专家，先后主持美国国家科学基金会8项课题，担任两份国际著名学术期刊副主编，并多次担任ASME国际学术会议程序主席和大会主席。在CAGD与刚体运动学、CAGD与机器动力学、变量几何运动学等学科交叉领域取得系统性创新成果，为计算设计和计算制造的未来发展奠定了坚实理论核心和基础。
