9月2日至6日，国际组织工程与再生医学亚太年会暨第二届海峡两岸论坛在中国台湾淡水举行，该会议吸引了来自全球39个国家和地区，800余名代表参会。中国科学院上海硅酸盐研究所生物材料与组织工程研究中心研究人员应邀参加了会议。会议由台湾清华大学主办，旨在探索如何加速组织工程与再生医学领域的基础及成果转化研究。

　　上海硅酸盐所常江研究员应邀分别在海峡两岸论坛和TEMIS-AP 2016会议上作了题为“Bioactive materials for tissue engineering”的大会报告及邀请报告。吴成铁研究员应邀在海峡两岸论坛上作了题为“3D-Printing of biomaterials for bone regeneration and therapy”的邀请报告。吴成铁研究员因其在生物材料领域的突出贡献，在TEMIS-AP 2016会议现场接受了英国皇家化学会Journal of Materials Chemistry Lectureship 奖项的颁发，并代表Journal of Materials Chemistry系列期刊在TEMIS-AP 2016会议上作了主题报告(Keynote)。

　　生物中心研究人员朱慧颖、翟东及在读博士生马红石和孙团伟也分别作了题为“3D Plotting of highly uniform Sr₅(PO₄)₂SiO₄ bioceramic scaffolds for bone tissue engineering”, “Nagelschmidtite bioceramics regulates osteoblast differentiation through BMP2 signalling pathway”, “A bifunctional biomaterial with photothermal effect for tumor therapy and bone regeneration”和“Synthesis of Magnesium Silicate Hollow Nanospheres as High-performance Drug Carriers”的口头报告，博士生张永刚作了题为“Vesicle-like nanospheres of amorphous calcium phosphate: sonochemical synthesis using adenosine 5’-triphosphate disodium salt and their application in pH-responsive drug delivery”的墙报展示。
