  Abstract

  With the discovery of evidence for neutrino mass and the quest for dark matter, astroparticle physics currently runs through an era of rapid progress and moving frontiers. The Gran Sasso National Laboratory (LNGS) is an Italian underground laboratory where INFN (National Institute for Nuclear Physics) conducts theoretical and experimental research in the fields of subnuclear, nuclear and astroparticle physics. This talk briefly reviews the very recent new developments in the field, indicates the crucial questions to be answered and outlines the directions of experimental research.
