籍贯湖南,2002年毕业于中国原子能科学研究院获工学博士学位, 2004-2006年在美国University of Massachusetts Medical School 及Jackson State University 做博士后研究。先后在中国原子能科学研究院、生物芯片北京国家工程研究中心、北京工业大学生命科学与生物工程学院、上海大学环境与化学工程学院工作。现主要从事稀土荧光纳米材料、纳米化学与生物学、新型光催化剂的制备及其降解有机污染物的研究。作为项目负责人曾承担多项国家及省部级课题。目前已在ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Dalton Transactions, Journal of Biomedical Nanotechnology等国际期刊上发表SCI论文40余篇,1997年获中国核工业总公司部级科技进步二等奖, 2013年获上海市科技进步三等奖,2007年入选上海市浦江人才计划。担任美国科学出版社出版的国际期刊 "Journal of Bionanoscience","Advanced Science, Engineering and Medicine"的编委,担任多种国际学术刊物的审稿人。
近年指导的研究生中,3人获国家奖学金,1人获上海大学校长奖学金,1人获光华奖学金一等,1人获国家学业奖学金一等,2人获上海市优秀毕业生, 2人获上海大学优秀毕业生。
