主持国家自然科学基金青年基金1项，发表学术论文19篇，其中SCI/SSCI期刊检索论文16篇，中文核心期刊3篇。主要从事土地利用/覆盖变化和景观可持续性研究。近几年，综合利用遥感、地理信息系统和数理统计分析等方法，开展了中国城市化格局、驱动力和环境影响以及区域可持续评价等研究工作。
