澳大利亚哲学博士，上海海事大学外国语学院英语教授，外国语言学及应用语言学硕士生导师。1990年获陕西师范大学英国语言文学专业学士学位，2003年获复旦大学外国语言学及应用语言学专业硕士学位，2007年获澳大利亚昆士兰科技大学哲学博士学位，2012年5月-2013年5月作为高级研究****赴美国亚利桑那州立大学访学，2018年8月-2019年8月获国家留学基金委资助赴英国伯明翰大学访学。曾先后赴美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚、新西兰、新加坡、葡萄牙、法国等国考察学习和参加学术会议交流。
