姚昆遗教授（1945.7－），1968年毕业于华东师范大学历史系；1983年毕业于中山大学历史系研究生，获历史学硕士学位。
2006年至今在上海对外经贸大学会展与旅游学院（2008年前为国际商务外语学院）任教，为本科生开设了《会展文化》、《企业文化》等课程。
1986年至2006年在上海大学文学院历史系、上海大学经济管理学院旅游管理系任教，曾担任上海大学历史系主任、旅游管理系主任，开设本科生课程《世界近代史》、《近现代国际关系史》、《中国近现代对外关系史》、《旅游文化》、《旅游客源国概况》、《上海都市旅游》，研究生课程《旅游文化》等。
1983年至1986年在上海国际问题研究所作为研究人员。

Professor Yao, Director of Shanghai Tourism Culture Research Institute, is also a member of the Expert Committee of Shanghai Tourism Development Research Centre, the Expert Committee of Shanghai Tourism Training Centre, Shanghai Tourism Standardization Technique Committee, and Shanghai Service Standardization Technique Committee. In addition, Professor Yao is a Special researcher of Cultural Tourism Research Centre at Zhejiang University and a Special Expert of Tourism Planning and Development Research Centre at Shanghai University.
Professor Yao graduated from the Department of History, East China Normal University in 1968, and got his master degree in history from Department of History, Zhongshan University in 1983. From 1983 to 1986, Professor Yao worked as a researcher at Shanghai International Affairs Research Institute. From 1986 to 2006, Professor Yao worked in Shanghai University as a faculty member, and was once the dean of the Department of History in the Faculty of Arts first and Dean of the Department of Tourism Management in the School of Economic and Management. During these periods, he taught such courses as “Modern World History”, “History of Modern International Relations”, “Tourism Culture”, and “Introduction of Origin Country Tourism” for undergraduates and graduates. In 2006, Professor Yao joined School of Tourism & Event Managementof SUIBE, and has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Exhibition Culture and Enterprise Culture.
