男，湖南保靖县人，博士，副研究员，硕士生导师。先后毕业于东南大学，东北电力大学，浙江大学，分别获工学学士，硕士，博士学位。先后在浙江大学机械与能源工程学院，医学院病理学系任讲师，美国斯坦福大学（Stanford University）医学院外科系任访问副教授，美国韦恩州立大学(Wayne State University)医学院分子医学与遗传学中心任Research Associate，现为上海海洋大学水产与生命学院发育生物学系教师。先后任10余个SCI期刊审稿专家。从事生物信息学，基因组学，宏基因组学，病原微生物学研究工作，并承担本科生和研究生的教学工作。近期聚焦冠状病毒研究，发表相关学术论文30余篇，SCI总引用800余次，引用超过100次的论文3篇，H指数为14.
