l 1999年7月至2001年7月：上海交通大学动力与工程热物理博士后流动站博士后；
l 2001年8月至2002年7月，2003年11月至2004年10月：以色列Technion-Israel Institute of Technology 拉宾脱盐实验室博士后；
l 2002年8月：上海交通大学环境科学与工程学院，副教授；
l 2011年8月至今：中国科学院上海高等研究院，研究员。
在Environmental Science & Technology、Journal of Membrane Science、Desalination、Chemical Engineering Science、Journal of Colloid and Interface Science、化工学报等期刊上发表论文50多篇，获授权国家发明专利24项（第1发明人）。
