研究方向
基于前期开创性系统发现的肠道菌群基因构成及代谢产物对宿主健康寿命的影响，本课题组主要致力于向机制探寻与潜在临床应用方向推进。课题组力争发现影响衰老的新的分子通路，并找到对抗衰老及肿瘤、阿尔兹海默症等相关疾病的安全、简便、非侵入性方法。主要项目包括：（1）完成对促长寿细菌突变体的基因组学和代谢组学分析，并据此以转化技术在人类典型肠道菌种中构建同源突变体，用于未来的有目的可控肠道菌移植；（2）检验新鉴定出的促长寿化合物——荚膜异多糖酸在哺乳动物中的效果，冀望将该化合物早日推向临床测试；（3）定位由细菌释放并可为线粒体接收的信号分子，完善细菌与宿主间的信息交流的理论，为治疗多种疾病提供洞见。
