主要研究领域：宗教学（宗教人类学/比较灵修学）／語言與哲學／政治哲学


近期研究重点：
-2012年1月至2013年12月期间，参与985项目：“明清西学和欧洲早期汉学中的神学文本整理及研究”，结项过程中，写作约100,000字。
-“上海-神圣”项目自2014年起在该研究领域进行了新的尝试，以田野调查为方式，凸显视觉人类学的影响，展开宗教现象学的研究，努力架构起上海宗教研究与国际性宗教研究的研究桥梁，建立更为立体的研究模式。
-罗马宗教项目，在与中国古代宗教相比较的视角下，进行对古罗马宗教的研究，通过对拉丁文经典原著的细读、译注和分析，结合历史学、文献学和考古学等研究方法，试图为古罗马宗教建立一个较为全面而系统的理解框架。
