田禾男，汉族，1962年7月出生，教授，博士生导师，中国科学院院士，国家“973计划”首席科学家，华东理工大学党委常委、化学与分子工程学院院长兼精细化工研究所所长.
田禾教授曾获得2000年国家科技进步二等奖、2007年国家自然科学二等奖和3项省部级科技进步二等奖等多项科技奖励，曾获全国优秀留学回国人员成就奖（2003年）、全国优秀教师称号（1998年）等荣誉，入选新世纪首批百千万人才工程国家级人选。2011年获得全国五一劳动奖章。
田禾教授学风正派，严谨求实，教书育人，至今已培养博士49名（其中2名学生的论文入选“全国百篇优秀博士论文”），现任国际学术刊物DyesandPigments主编等职。
Prof.HeTIANreceivedhisB.S.degreeinorganicchemistryfromNanjingUniversityofScience&Technology(Nanjing,China)in1982.AfterreceivinghisM.S.degreeinPhysicsfromEastChinaUniversityofScience&Technology(ECUST)(Shanghai,China)in1986,hestudiedunderthedirectionofProfessorZhen-HuaZHUattheInstituteofFineChemicalslateatECUST,wherehereceivedhisPh.D.in1989.From1991to1993,Dr.TianworkedwithProf.Dr.KarlH.Drexhage(SiegenUniversity/Germany)onorganiclaserdyesandin2000withProf.Dr.KlausMüllen(MPIP/Mainz/Germany)onorganicphotochromiccopolymer,bothsupportedbyAlexandervonHumboldtFoundation.Duringhissabbaticalin2001,Prof.TiancollaboratedwithProf.M.G.FinnatTheScrippsResearchInstituteinSanDiego,California/USA.Prof.TianbecameafullprofessoranddirectoroftheInstituteofFineChemicalsatECUSTin1994.In1999,hewasappointedCheungKongDistinguishedProfessorbytheEducationMinistryofChina.In2011,hewasselectedasamemberoftheChineseAcademyofScience.Hiscurrentresearchinterestsincludethesynthesesofnovelfunctionalorganicdyesandpolymersaswellasdevelopmentofinterdisciplinarymaterialssciencethatdeterminestheelectronicandopticalpropertiesofmaterials.Prof.Tianhaspublished288papersininternationaljournalsandbeenawarded66Chinesepatents.NowProf.TianisCo-EditorofDyesandPigmentsandInternationalAdvisoryBoardMemberforPolymerChemistryandChemicalScience.
