研究方向
1995年于华东师范大学获生态学专业博士学位；2001年晋升为教授。
主要从事分子生态学、植物生态学、种群生态学、保护生物学等方面的研究工作，近年来对植物-动物(特别是昆虫)间的协同进化及其对生境变化的响应尤感兴趣，具体涉及如下方面：
- 片断生境中生物多样性维持机制。片断化是当前导致生物多样性丧失最主要的因素之一‚研究生物多样性、生态过程与生态关系对片断化的响应，建立岛屿生物地理学模型‚研究长期处于片断化状态生物多样性以及协同进化关系动态，为片断生境上生物多样性保护提供科学依据。
- 分子遗传标记在生态学研究中的应用：主要研究利用分子遗传标记(包括微卫星标记、DNA测序、等位酶标记、AFLPs等)研究物种的遗传结构‚阐明保护和恢复生态学、亲缘地理学等方面的问题。研究植物基因型多样性与生态系统功能的关系。
