主要内容:
Social Sciences have intensified the studies about globalization. Different interpretations of this process have emerged: Internationalization, Liberalization, Polarization, Americanization, McDonalization, Transnationalization, and Balkanization. These categories cover the full range of studies in social sciences.
Economics Studies have focused on competitiveness, among other topics, and particularly on how to measure this theme.
There are at least three different methods to measure the competitiveness of the countries: 1) the method constructed by German Institute for Development, 2) the method of Institute for Management Development (IMD), and 3) the method of World Economic Forum (WEF). Our presentation is focused on the last one method and offers information for some countries of the Asian Development Model (according to Gregory and Stuart, 2014)
