Richard Rochberg是Washington University in St.Louis的著名教授，于1970年获得哈佛大学博士学位，是研究算子方向的领军人物。他主要的研究方向：function theory, harmonic analysis and operator theory.他在国际顶尖数学杂志Annals of Mathematics，Journal of Functional Analysis，Advances in Mathematics等发表了许多论文。发在Annals of Mathematics上的文章引用次数高达963次。
内容提要：
A model space is the subspace of the Hardy space H 2consisting of all vectorsorthogonal to a given invariant subspace. The space of polynomials of degree as most is the simplest example. The systematic study of Toeplitz operators compressed to such spaces (Truncated Toeplitz Operators, TTOs) began with an in.uential 1997 paper of Sarason. The associated theory of Hankel forms is almost a mirror image of the theory of TTO.s. I will discuss these
relations and some questions and results concerning boundedness and Schatten ideal membership.
