内容提要:
Many economic decisions regarding fairness of resource distribution are made by teams. We experimentally compare the revealed inequality aversion preference between individuals and teams. We develop a new team decision making procedure with anonymous and public proposing/voting scheme in order to understand within-team bargaining and to investigate the effect of social image effect on team decision making. The results show neither within-subject nor between-subjects difference between individual and team decisions. On the other hand, we find significant difference between individual decisions and individual initial proposals, although there is no additional social image effect of anonymous proposal compared to public proposal on individual initial proposals and team decisions. This result implies that more selfish team members have stronger influence on team bargaining and decision.
