内容提要：

The Rudin-Osher-Fatemi variational model has been extensively studied and used in image analysis and other fields. We study the convergence of the numerical solutions of this convex minimization model by various finite-difference schemes. We bound the difference between the solution to the continuous ROF model and the numerical solution and give a suboptimal convergence rate. The space of the solutions we consider includes “typical” images, i.e., images with edges or with fractal structures.
