主讲人简介：
Christopher Davies is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bank (China) Company Limited (“HSBC China”) and an Executive Director of the Board of HSBC China.Mr Davies has spent more than 25 years with the HSBC Group, and has held senior management positions across all of the Group’s major business segments including Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Commercial Banking and Global Banking & Markets principally in Europe and North America. Before joining HSBC China, he served as Head of Commercial Banking for North America for HSBC Bank USA, N.A., based in New York. When last based in London, his responsibilities included the HSBC Group’s China Affairs activities.Mr Davies became Deputy Chief Executive Officer of HSBC China in April 2011, overseeing the Bank’s Private Banking, Payments & Cash Management, Securities Services, Rural Banking, RMB Internationalisation, Network Development, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, Technology & Services, and Corporate Sustainability. He is responsible for driving the international banking of HSBC’s China clients. Mr Davies also has administrative responsibility for Internal Audit.
In New York, Mr Davies was a member of the Board of Trustees of the China Institute and the Board of Directors of the City Parks Foundation. He is also a member of the Brookings Institution’s forum on “Growth through Innovation.”
Mr Davies received a master’s degree from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom and is an Associate of the (UK) Institute of Bankers.
