主讲人简介：
Dr. Jing’an Tang is a tenured associate professor in management at the John F. Welch College of Business, Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. He received his Ph.D. in business administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, MBA from the University of Maryland at College Park and B.A. in economics from Renmin University of China in Beijing. He teaches strategic management, international business and integrated MBA core courses at SHU and won the Faculty Excellence award in 2008. His research is focused on international strategy, foreign peer networks and MNE performance and has been published in various journals such as Journal of Asia Pacific Business, International Journal of Business and Systems Research, Journal of Business and Policy Research etc. He has also presented research at various conferences including the Academy of Management (AOM), Academy of International Business (AIB), Strategic Management Society (SMS) etc.
He won the best paper award in 2006, best paper in strategy/IB theory in 2010 and the best paper from the SIM division in 2012 respectively at the AOM annual conferences. His doctoral dissertation was nominated for Berry Richman Best Dissertation Award (Finalist of four worldwide) at the 2008 AOM meeting and his paper for Promising Scholar Award at the 2008 AIB conference. He also won the best paper award at the 15th International Business Research Conference in Sydney, Australia in 2011 and an honorable mention award (2nd place) at the 2004 ASAC meeting in Canada.
Dr. Tang will come to SWUFE to share his experience in the award winning research with our students, particularly on how to build a fruitful research stream by choosing a dissertation topic.
