个人简介Personal Profile Qingchun Chen received his B.Sc degree and his M.Sc degree with honor in Automatic Control, Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Control from Chongqing University, P.R. China, in 1994 and 1997, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Transportation Information Engineering and Control from Southwest Jiaotong University, P.R. China in 2004. He was with Jimei Maritime University (Now Jimei University) from 1997 to 1998, and Shenzhen High-Tech Park (HTP) Telecommunication Company from 1998 to 1999. He joined Southwest Jiaotong University since 2004 as an associate professor and then as a full professor since 2009. He visited City University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as research fellow and research associate in 2004 and 2005, respectively. From 2009-2010, he visited Harvard University with prof. Vahid Tarokh sponsored by CSC (China Scholarship Council). Dr. Chen received the excellent Ph.D. dissertation award by SWJTU and Sichuan Province in 2004 and 2005, respectively. In 2006, he was the recipient of the Program for New Century Excellent Talent in University, Ministry of Education, P.R. China. He was also the recipient of Fok Ying Tong selected research funding for Outstanding Young Teacher in Colleges and Universities in 2005. He was enlisted as the candidate of Sichuan Outstanding Youth Science Foundation since 2009. Research work led by Dr. Qingchun Chen was supported by the Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Ministry of Education (MOE) of China, the Sichuan Province, and some industrial funding. Qingchun Chen has authored and coauthored over 60 research papers, two book chapters and contributed to 9 Chinese patents in different techniques for wireless systems. He is the co-recipient of one excellent paper award from IET CCWMC 2009.
