个人简介
廖少毅，西南交通大学经济管理学院特聘教授，香港城市大学资讯系统学系教授，先进交通信息系统研究中心主任。长期从事信息系统方面的研究，在智能交通系统、移动商务、电子商务、用户建模、机器学习、数据挖掘技术等方面有深入的研究。在国际重要学术刊物、会议发表论文上百余篇，包括信息系统领域的顶级期刊MIS Quarterly，Communications of the ACM，Decision Support Systems, ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems，IEEE transactions等，担任国际期刊《Information & Management》的编辑，以及多个国际知名期刊的审稿人。近几年先后承担香港政府多项智能交通系统研究项目，包括巴士乘客服务、车联网、交通数据融合、香港ITS架构与标准规划设计等。
主要研究方向
现主要研究领域是管理信息化，包括三个方向：

(1) 信息化基础技术，重点研究商务智能、数据挖掘、用户建模；

(2) 智能交通系统，重点研究实时交通信息的收集、处理与传递，城市交通模型建模与仿真，智能交通系统标准等；
