1987年毕业于西安医科大学医学系,获医学学士学位,1997年获华西医科大学医学硕士学位,2005年获四川大学理学博士学位。现任四川大学华西医学中心基础医学与法医学院生理教研室教授。
在教学方面,长期从事本科生和研究生教学工作,获教改项目和教学成果奖多项。
在科研方面,主要从事与中枢神经系统兴奋性活动相关的系统和细胞生物学研究。熟练掌握整体神经元放电记录、细胞外微电极记录、全细胞膜片钳技术等电生理学研究方法。主要研究工作包括大鼠癫痫发生的机制研究、神经保护剂对抗缺血缺氧所致细胞损伤机制的研究。
先后赴香港大学医学院生理系、美国哈佛大学医学院附属Brigham and Women’s Hospital作学术研究和访问。作为主研参加国家自然科学基金、教育部博士点基金8项,在国际国内学术期刊上发表论文20余篇。中国生理学会呼吸生理专业委员会委员,四川省生理科学会理事,四川省生理科学会生理学专业委员会委员兼秘书。

Dr. Zhou mainresearch interests lie in the study of neuronal excitability and network synchronization within the mammalian central nervous system. Using EEG recording invivoand whole-cell ion currents recording on acute isolated hippocamal neurons and on hippocampal slices invitro, she investigated channel mechanisms of epileptogenesis in Tutin (a chemical convulsant derived from Chinese herbs) induced epileptic rats. Another study is to explore the protective mechanism of neuroprotective agents on ischemic neurons.she has been participating in research works of the National Natural Science Funds and Doctoral Funds of Ministry of Education.
She went to the University of Hong Kong, and Brigham and Women 's Hospital affiliated to Harvard Medical School for academic research and interview. She has published more than 20 papers in the international and domestic academic journals. She serves as a member of Chinese society of physiology, specialized committee of respiratory physiology, and the secretary and a memberofphysiology specialized committee of Sichuan provincial physiological science society.
