3、主要研究方向

■采用分子生物学和细胞学手段，研究青藏高原特征性生物类群物种多样化的特殊机制和时间尺度，结合地质、地理和古植被的资料，验证与确认青藏高原的环境演变信息，确定高原隆升和冰期各时间段对高山物种分化和多样化
的不同影响。
■在基因组水平对生物开展群体遗传、分子生态、适应进化和物种形成机制的研究，探讨高原生物对极端环境适应过程，揭示生物如何在群体和基因组水平上通过结构和功能等改变，适应极端环境等科学问题。

■运用细胞生物学、生物信息学、基因组分析以及基因功能比较等方法，研究极端环境下生物特有的基因或遗传资源、基因进化式样和功能分化，以及生物的耐逆机制，挖掘耐拟功能相关基因资源。
