研究兴趣和方向

系统基因组学和适应进化。以往主要采用基因组碱基序列构建物种的系统进化关系，主要包括鸟类，爬行类，植物等非模式物种，并利用构建的系统进化关系探究物种的行为进化模式，地理起源，进化冲突，以及适应进化特征。课题组目前主要通过大规模分析不同物种（主要是鸟类）的全基因组数据，探索新的数据类型（包括插入缺失模式，线粒体假基因等）用以解决物种进化关系。同时也开展鸟类特殊性状的进化模式等相关研究。
