Abstract: Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein L(hnRNP L) is an important member of the hnRNP family. hnRNP L is a type of RNA binding protein that is mainly located in the nucleus. Recent studies have shown that in addition to its important role in the formation of the immune system, hnRNP L is also aberrantly expressed in a variety of tumors. Further studies have found that hnRNP L promotes various biological processes of tumor cells, including proliferation, migration, invasion, and prognosis, suggesting that hnRNP L plays an important role in tumorigenesis and cancer development. This article summarizes the mechanisms of hnRNP L in the occurrence of various cancers, and explores the clinical significance of hnRNP L.
