大学生自我认同感对社交回避及苦恼的影响:负面评价恐惧的中介效应

摘要: 目的 以东北地区650名大学生为研究对象,探讨自我认同感、负面评价恐惧与社交回避及苦恼的关系。方法 运用整群随机抽样法于2020年6月采用自我认同感、负面评价恐惧与社交回避及苦恼量表对650名大学生进行问卷调查。结果 自我认同感与负面评价恐惧和社交回避及苦恼均呈显著负相关;负面评价恐惧与社交回避及苦恼呈显著正相关;回归分析发现,同时考虑负面评价恐惧时,自我认同感对社交回避及苦恼的负向预测作用显著但有所减弱,中介分析结果显示负面评价恐惧的中介效应占总效应的12.95%。结论 负面评价恐惧在自我认同感和社交回避及苦恼之间具有部分中介作用,表明大学生自我认同感可通过负面评价恐惧影响其社交回避及苦恼。因此,应以降低大学生对负面评价的恐惧为个别辅导和团体干预的靶点,有效提升大学生自我认同感,从容应对负面评价,构建良好的人际关系,进而保持身心健康。

Abstract: Objective To explore the relationship between self-identity,fear of negative evaluation,and social avoidance and distress among college students in Northeast China. Methods The cluster random sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey among 650 college students in June 2020 using the self-identity,fear of negative evaluation,and social avoidance and distress scales. Results A significant negative correlation between self-identity,fear of negative evaluation,and social avoidance and distress was observed; a positive correlation between the fear of negative evaluation and social avoidance and distress was observed. The regression analysis indicated that when the fear of negative evaluation was considered,the negative prediction effect of self-identity on social avoidance and distress was significant but weakened. The mediating analysis results indicated that the mediating effect of the fear of negative evaluation accounted for 12.95% of the total effect. Conclusion The relationship between self-identity and social avoidance and distress is partially mediated by the fear of negative evaluation,thus indicating that self-identity can influence social avoidance and distress through the fear of negative evaluation. Therefore,it is vital to reduce the college students’ fear of negative evaluation through individual counseling and group interventions. This could help enhance the college students’ self-identity,cope with negative evaluation,build good interpersonal relationships,and maintain physical and mental health.
