食管癌术后早期肠内营养支持的临床效果

Abstract: Objective We aimed to investigate the effect of early enteral nutrition support for patients after esophageal cancer surgery. Methods We included 40 patients who underwent esophageal cancer surgery and our selection criteria from October 2016 to December 2017. The patients were divided into the TPN group and the EN group,each containing 20 participants. We compared the changes in serum albumin levels and white blood cell counts on the 2nd,5th,and 8th postoperative days between the two groups. The intestinal venting time,time of chest tube drawing,and length of hospital stay were also compared between the two groups. Results The serum albumin levels and white blood cell counts on the 5th and 8th postoperative days in the TPN group were significantly lower than those in the EN group. The intestinal venting time,time of chest tube drawing,and length of hospital stay were all significantly lower in the EN group than in the TPN group. Conclusion Early enteral nutrition support for patients after esophageal cancer surgery can reduce the risk of postoperative infection,promote the recovery of intestinal function,shorten the retention time of the chest tube,shorten hospital stay,and promote the rapid recovery of these patients.
