f101基因3’端非翻译区微小RNA结合位点单核苷酸多态性与非霍奇金淋巴瘤患者预后的关系

Abstract: Objective The microRNA (miRNA) binding-site single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs4901706 located in the 3'-untranslated region (UTR) of f101 was genotyped in non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) patients to assess their relationship with cancer risk and overall survival. Methods The miRNA binding site SNP of rs4901706 in the 3'-UTR of f101 was genotyped using the ligation detection reaction method. The association of rs4901706 in f101 with NHL survival was calculated with the log-rank test using the Kaplan-Meier method. Multivariate survival analysis was performed using a Cox proportional hazards model. Results Patients with the rs4901706 AA genotype presented a significantly longer survival time than patients with the AG/GG genotype (P=0.017). In addition,the results of the multivariate analysis revealed that the rs4901706 SNP was independently associated with the survival of NHL patients (RR:1.768,95% CI:1.045-2.997,P=0.035). Furthermore,the statistically significant association between the rs4901706 SNP and NHL survival was corroborated in the T-cell lymphoma (TCL) subtype of NHL (P=0.025). Conclusion Our study proved that the SNP at the miRNA binding site in the f101 3'-UTR is influential in determining the survival rate of patients with NHL. Thus,it may have a promising clinical prognostic and survival significance.
