利用TCGA数据分析果糖二磷酸醛缩酶A对肺癌预后的预测效果

Abstract: Objective To investigate the prognostic value and related pathways of fructose-bisphosphate aldolase A (ALDOA) in different pathological subtypes of lung cancer. Methods The expression profiles and clinical data of ALDOA in lung cancer patients were downloaded from the cancer genome atlas (TCGA) database. The correlation between ALDOA expression and the clinical pathological parameters of lung cancer,and prognosis in different pathological subtypes were analyzed. Related pathways of key genes were predicted by gene set enrichment analysis. Results The expression level of ALDOA varied among the pathological subtypes of lung cancer (P < 0.05), and its high expression in patients with lung adenocarcinoma was significantly associated with poor prognosis (P < 0.05). The expression level of ALDOA in lung adenocarcinoma was related only to the depth of tumor invasion (T stage,P=0.026) and the number of lymph node metastasis (N stage,P=0.026). Samples exhibiting high expression of ALDOA were enriched in metabolic pathways such as glycolysis, hypoxia pathway,and oxidative phosphorylation,as well as tumor proliferation and metastasis related pathways such as G2M checkpoints, apoptosis,and epithelial-mesenchymal transition. Conclusion High expression of ALDOA in lung adenocarcinoma is a factor associated with poor prognosis,and the expression level of ALDOA can be used as a potential marker for metastasis and prognosis.
