Abstract: Objective To study the effect of downregulated hMOF expression on the proliferation,apoptosis,migration,and invasion of the endometrial cancer cell line Ishikawa. Methods siRNA of hMOF was transfected into the endometrial cancer cell line Ishikawa, and the transfection efficiency was screened and identified. The cells were divided into control,siRNA-NC,and siRNA-hMOF groups. We performed MTT assay to detect the cell proliferation,Annexin-Ⅴ-APC/7AAD double staining to detect the rate of apoptosis,wound healing test to detect the migration ability,and Transwell test to detect the invasion ability of the cells. Results Compared with the siRNA-NC group,the proliferation,migration,and invasive capacity of cells decreased while apoptosis increased in the siRNA-hMOF group after transfection with siRNA-hMOF. Conclusion Interference with hMOF expression can inhibit the proliferation,migration,and invasion of the endometrial cancer cell line Ishikawa and promote the apoptosis. Thus,hMOF plays an important role in the malignant growth and metastasis of endometrial cancer.
