PI3K和VEGF-C在口腔颌面部淋巴管畸形中的表达

Abstract: Objective To investigate the expression of phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI3K)and vascular endothelial growth factor-C (VEGF-C)in oral and maxillofacial lymphatic malformations. Methods The immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expression of PI3K and VEGF-C in 35 cases of lymphatic malformation and 10 cases of normal lymphoid tissue. Results In lymphatic malformation tissues,the positive expression rates of PI3K and VEGF-C were 80%(28/35)and 88.57%(31/35),respectively. In normal lymphoid tissues,the positive expression rates of both PI3K and VEGF-C were 0%(0/10). The positive expression rates of PI3K and VEGF-C in lymphatic malformation tissues were significantly higher than those in normal lymphoid tissues(P<0.05). There was a positive correlation between the positive expression of PI3K and VEGF-C in lymphatic malformation tissues. Conclusion PI3K and VEGF-C are involved in endothelial cell proliferation in lymphatic malformations.
