Abstract: Objective To observe the expression of miR-625-3p in ovarian serous carcinoma and analyze its relationship with the inflammatory factors monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1),number of interstitial macrophages, and the cell proliferation index. Methods Patients with ovarian serous carcinoma(n=67)were selected as the observation group and those with ovarian serous cystadenoma(n=60)as the control group. The expression of miR-625-3p was detected by real-time PCR. The expression of MCP-1 and macrophage marker CD163 in paraffin-embedded tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry. The expression of MCP-1 and CD163 in fresh specimens was detected by Western blotting. Results There were significant differences in the expression of miR-625-3p,positive rate of MCP-1,number of macrophages and semiquantitative expression of MCP-1 and CD163 between the two groups(P<0.05). In the observation group, the expression of miR-625-3p,MCP-1 and CD163 differed significantly between tumors with different maximum diameter, pathological grade, vascular tumor thrombus, lymph node metastasis, and TNM stage(P<0.05). The expression of miR-625-3p was positively correlated with proliferation index,MCP-1,and CD163. Survival analysis showed that the expression of miR-625-3p was related to prognosis. Conclusion The high expression of miR-625-3p may promote pathological changes in ovarian serous carcinoma. miR-625-3p may be involved in the regulation of cell proliferation, macrophage formation, and inflammatory cytokine production. Detection of miR-625-3p expression after operation may have prognostic value.
