个人简介
Dr.Wu Peidong,male,bron in March 1962 in Jiangyin City,Jiangsu Province is a professor and doctoral superbisor of the McMaster University in Canada.He got the Doctor’s Degree of Engineering in the Delft University of Technology.
Prof.Wu Peidong is a member of NSERC Canada International Fellow,and the standing director of execllent science centre in Ontario,Canada.He is the editor-in-chief of various journals,including Computational Materials Science, International Journal of Engineering Sciences,and International Journal of Mechanical Sciences.
Prof.Wu Peidong has been actively advocating Constitutive Modeling of Engineering Materials and their Composites; Computational Mechanics ;Numerical simulation of surface instabilities and material instabilities ;Multiscale modelling of size effect in manufacture processes.He applied four projects by himself and attend the five programmes with others in last three years,such as Project entitled “Strain gradient plasticity theories and their application to sheet metal forming”,“Characterizing tool wear under high performance green manufacturing conditions”,“Multi-scale development of advanced ultra-high strength steels and structures” and “Microstructural modelling of sheet metal formablilty”.
Prof.Wu Peidong has been rewarded many honors and prizes in his unremitting efforts for scientific research:

(2)Early Researcher Award, Ministry of Research and Innovation of Ontario (2007);
(3)Paper “Evaluation of biaxial forming limits by bulge testing” was awarded The Best Technical Paper of Novelis in Year 2006;
