主要研究方向为土壤与水系统生物修复、土壤微生物-植物-地球化学循环关系、微生物资源开发利用。特别关注参与金属铁锰循环的微生物生态及其产物对土壤与水体污染物的影响研究,以及设施土壤障碍改良的微生物机制及产品研发。目前主持国家自然科学基金、江苏省自然科学基金、江苏省农业产业发展项目等二十多个研究项目。获江苏省苏北发展特聘专家、江苏省科技副总,扬州市“绿扬金凤”人才计划和宿迁市高层次人才计划。主讲资源环境与可持续发展、土壤污染与生物修复、Geomicrobiology、Environmental Microbiology、Environmental protection、Scientific writing等课程。
