Bio:Since I was a little kid I was enchanted by the night sky. Interesting fact: cosmos in ancient Greek comes fromκ?σμημα, which means jewel. When I came of age, I studied physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and then I moved to Crete for my masters degree. I knew early enough that observations are not so appealing to me, even though every time I visit an observatory or a lab I am always excited. That’s why I chose to work on theoretical physics and in particular on gravitational interactions. My main topic of interest is geometric foundations of gravity and applications both at astrophysical and at cosmological scales. When I don’t work, I like to travel, read about history and philosophy and play music.
