李霄翔博士，教授，博士生导师。男，1957年3月出生于江苏省镇江市，82年2月毕业于南京工学院（88年更名为东南大学）英语专业，毕业后留校任教至今。期间曾4次赴英美等国高校学习和进修，2000-09年在南京大学在职攻读博士学位，获历史学博士学位。曾经获得以下荣誉：东南大学优秀青年教学骨干称号（1994-96年度），国务院特殊津贴（1999年），东南大学优秀教学特等奖（2003年），宝钢优秀教师奖（2003年），国家级教学成果二等奖（第一获奖人，2005年），江苏省教学名师奖（2007年），国家级优秀教学团队（带头人，2009年），国家级教学名师奖和宝钢教育基金特等奖（2011年）。2004年主持国家级精品课程《大学英语》课程建设。主编或参编各类全国或全省大学英语通用教材30余本，在国家级学术刊物发表论文30余篇。主要研究方向是第二语言习得、双语教育、教材研究开发、英语教学管理等。承担了十余项国家级和省部级科研项目和教材研究开发项目。从88年至96年6月，担任东南大学外语系副主任，江苏省高等学校外国语教学研究会秘书长，江苏省高等学校电教协会外语电教主任委员。92-96年兼任东南大学工业培训发展中心副主任。96-2006年任东南大学外语系主任，2007-2011年东南大学外国语学院院长，2011年11月起任东南大学教学发展中心主任。自1996年起任江苏省高等学校外国语教学研究会会长，2001年起任教育部大学外语教学指导委员会委员、副主任委员。2004年起任全国大学英语四、六级考试委员会委员。

ProfessorLiXiaoxiangwasgraduatedinFeb.1982fromNanjingInstituteofTechnology(renamedSoutheastUniversityin1988)withaBAmajoringinEnglisheducation,andhasbeenworkinginSEUeversince,asaTA,alecturer(in1986),anassociateprofessor(in1991),andaprofessor(in1996).Receivedfurthereducationfourtimesfrom1984to2006inuniversitieshomeandabroadintheareasofappliedlinguisticsandhistory,withaPhD.inhistoryfromNanjingUniversity.Awardsreceived:HonorofSpecialAllowanceforEducationalExcellencygrantedbytheStateCouncilin1999,NationalExcellentTeacherAwardbyBaoGangEducationFoundationin2003,JiangsuExcellentTeacherAwardin2007,HonorofNationalExcellentTeachingTeamin2009,NationalExcellentTeacherAwardin2011andNationalSpecialExcellentTeacherAwardbyBaoGangEducationFoundationin2011.Publishedmorethan30academicpapers,chief-editedandcompiledmorethan30ELTtextbooks.Mainacademicinterest:AppliedLinguisticsandEnglishEducation,bilingualeducation,andELTmaterialdevelopment.FormerDeanoftheSchoolofForeignLanguagesofSoutheastUniversity(1996-2011),CurrentlyDirectorofCenterforTeachingandLearningDevelopmentofSoutheastUniversity.ChairmanofJiangsuCollegeForeignLanguagesTeachingandResearchAssociation,DeputyDirectorofNationalAdvisoryCommitteeonCollegeForeignLanguagesTeachingoftheStateEducationMinistry,andMemberofCET4&6Committee.
