主要研究方向1、肿瘤免疫及肿瘤干细胞
2、感染免疫及基因疫苗1997年获浙江大学病毒学博士学位。现任东南大学医学院病原生物学和免疫学系主任，三级教授，博士生导师。兼任江苏免疫学会常务理事、江苏微生物学与免疫学会常务理事，《生物技术通讯》杂志常务理事、FrontiersinBioscience和WJSC杂志编委、《东南大学学报》（医学版）编委、《中国免疫学杂志》特邀审稿人、国家自然科学基金和国家863计划同行评议专家、教育部学位与研究生教育发展中心学位论文评审专家、江苏省第二批六大人才高峰培养对象、科技发展中心中国科技论文在线编辑部推荐的优秀学者。
主要研究领域肿瘤免疫及肿瘤干细胞、感染免疫和基因疫苗。先后主持或参加国家、省、部、厅级科研项目21项，教学研究项目8项，发表各种论文160余篇，先后获省、厅科研奖四项、东南大学教学工作奖三项及三育人奖一项。
